Paws for a while offers a range of pet care services in the Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford Fair Oak and Winchester areas. Reliable, trustworhty and professional service including dog walking, pet visits and transportation. If it is long working hours, medical conditons, days away or holiday breaks you can rely on me to take the lead in the care of your pet.
Dog Walking
Paws for a while offers a professional, friendly dog walking service which will provide you with peace of mind whilst you are out or at work, on a day out or just need a few hours break. I can walk your dog on a regular or ad hoc basis and walks will be an hour or two hours. Your dog will be collected and transported safely, with a maximum of three dogs walked together at any one time., matched for temperament and energy levels. Socialisation is improved and the dogs enjoy plenty of exercise and interaction by running around and playing. I will also continue training that you may be working on with your dog. Walks are varied and can include parks, woodland, fields, and riversides. One to one walks can also be arranged if required. I will walk your dog on lead unless you sign that you are happy for it to be walked off lead. When we get home from the walk I will towel dry your dog and put down fresh water and make sure they are settled before I leave them.

Home Boarding
Paws for a While are licenced and insured for home boarding and as a qualified Veterinary Nurse, the care of your dog is my utmost concern. As a licenced boarder you have the peace of mind that the home is safe and secure for your dog. All dogs staying have free run of the whole downstairs and live as part of the family here with myself and my other half and we aim to tailor each stay to the needs of the individual dog. They will enjoy varied walks at least twice per day and all the love that they need. All dogs staying must undergo a meet and greet, trial walk and trial stay and do have to provide proof of up to date vaccination prior to being accepted for boarding.

Rabbits/Guinea Pigs
Small animals are often happy to be left in their own surroundings whilst you are on holiday but still require regular feeding, watering and cleaning out. I wll call by daily or twice daily if required, put in fresh food and water, clean hutches and give a health check whilst giving some love and cuddles.
